Written by Lennon and McCartney, I want to hold your hand is a pop/rock song recorded in October 1963. They have written this song having the American market in mind. I want to hold your hand is the Beatles first number 1 in the Billboard hot 100. It went on for 15 weeks in the charts. The song has catchy beat and plastered with the Beatles charisma. Surely went on to become a hit record worldwide...

Strawberry Fields

Strawberry Fields, another great song from the Beatles. It was recorded by the end of 1966 . This was the famous song where people heard some lyrics masked saying "Paul is dead". Which of course is not true... It is originally composed for the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band, but was instead included on the double A-side single, backed by Paul McCartney's Penny Lane.

The song is both written by Lennon/McCartney. It is a Psychedelic rock genre and many other artists have covered the song.

Something

Something is a great ballad composed by George Harrison. It was widely speculated that the song was written for his then wife, Pattie Boyd. But George had denied it and told a reporter that he just randomly wrote the song and was thinking about Ray Charles. Whoever his inspiration was, it turned out positively. The song is still loved by many today and is constantly revived by other singers. It is the second most covered song of the Beatles, the first is Yesterday... It is one of George's finest work.

A really nice mushy song... It is originally sang by Paul Davis... It is about getting over a previous relationship. You thought you already got over it but when you see him, you totally fall in love all over again... I know a lot of you could relate to this... :) This version is done by DHT, a Belgian duo... They also did a cover of Listen to your heart, by Roxette. Their genre is house, trance music... I like their version of I go crazy, because it is sang by a female and her voice is so nice... A great song from U2. A rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Hit the charts in the 1980's. Band members consists of Bono (Guitars, vocals), (Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals), Adam Clayton (Bass guitar) and Larry Mullen Jr.( Drums and percussion). U2 is listed as #22 in the Rolling Stones magazines, 100 Greatest artists of all time, they have also won 22 Grammy awards. Throughout their career, as a band and as individuals, they have campaigned for human rights and social justice.

Maybe I'll feature a lot of U2 songs here because I love their music so much...

Gwen Stefani, lead vocals of the band No doubt and also a successful solo artist in her own right. Married to Gavin Rossdale of Bush. I love a lot of Gwen's songs. It clearly speaks of her feelings. This song is really about trying to make the relationship work... A really great music video, enjoy it.

I have always loved this song... John Lennon composed this song for his beloved wife, Yoko Ono.

Such a lovely song. Expresses how much love he felt for her... John Lennon and Yoko Ono had separated for a few months. John then got involved with May Pang. Their affair was called The Lost Weekend...

Then John went back to Yoko and composed this wonderful song for her. Honestly, I am not a fan of Yoko, but she is so lucky to be loved like that...

Hello everyone... This is my first post. I just want to share with you my favortie songs, videos and information about my favorite music artists and bands...

I really am a music lover and I want to know if how many people likes the songs that I will post here. Most of the songs are from the past.
